VinUni University and Technology School cooperate to improve the quality of training and scientific research

On March 6, 2025, the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, NEU College of Technology and the Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI), VinUni University officially signed a cooperation agreement to improve the quality of training, scientific research and technology transfer.

According to the content of the agreement, the two sides will promote cooperative activities in many fields, including exchanging lecturers and students, establishing a joint research group on optimal solutions for smart electric vehicle charging, as well as coordinated in master's and doctoral training. This is considered an important step, opening up opportunities for sustainable development for both units in the field of data science and artificial intelligence.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of NEU College of Technology, there was the presence of Dr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Principal, PhD. Bui Quoc Hoan - Chief of Office and lecturers of the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The representative of CEI Center, VinUni University is Professor. Laurent El Ghaoui – Scientific Director, PhD. Phung Thi Viet Bac - CEO.

The cooperation with CEI Center, VinUni University will help improve the quality of training, scientific research and bring many development opportunities for students and tutors of the two units. Upcoming cooperation projects will contribute to solving practical problems of society.

Developing artificial intelligence and data science solutions applied in energy optimization, especially smart electric vehicle charging systems, is a potential direction. The combination of the team of experts from the two units will create new advances in research and practical applications.

The cooperation agreement between NEU College of Technology and CEI Center, VinUni University promises to bring many practical benefits to learners, while contributing to promoting the development of data science and artificial intelligence in Vietnam.
