Within the framework of a business trip to Australia, on July 9, 2025, the College of Technology delegation visited and worked at Swinburne University of Technology, one of the leading public higher education institutions in Melbourne.

Welcoming and working with the delegation was Dr. Neema Cucinotta – Deputy Rector in charge of International Cooperation; Professor. Nicki Wragg – Dean of the Faculty of Law and Business; Professor. At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed to implement a joint training program at undergraduate and master's levels (3+1+1) for students. According to this model, third-year students at NEU will have the opportunity to transfer to Swinburne University of Technology to study for 1 more year to obtain a bachelor's degree, and then study for 1 more year to receive a master's degree. The program applies to majors with high demand for quality human resources such as Software Engineers, Management Information Systems, Cyber ​​Security and Information Technology. This is a practical opportunity for students of the College of Technology to improve their qualifications and ability to integrate internationally.

In addition to training cooperation, the two sides also discussed cooperation in scientific research and training of lecturers in the fields of information technology and business - fields that are growing strongly and play an important role in global digital transformation.

Within the framework working program, the delegation visited modern laboratories of Swinburne University of Technology, including network design, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) laboratories. These are advanced learning and research spaces, supporting students and tutors in developing technology projects according to international standards.
