Management Information Systems industry provides training in the design, management and operation of information systems, data analysis, connecting stakeholders in businesses and organizations with information technology experts. Students are exposed to information technology project management, web programming, networking and communications, and have the ability to manage and build information technology applications to solve business problems such as data security, risk management, and decision support.

Graduate outcomes

After graduating, students majoring in Management Information Systems will master the following:knowledge sau:

  • Understand theories of investment economics and international economics. Master ethical standards in business. Understand basic knowledge about Management Information Systems in organizations and businesses.

  • Understand the basic knowledge of management information systems industry; Understand and apply methods and processes for developing, operating and maintaining application management information systems for the fields of economics, management and business administration; Master the software development process and information system project management process.

  • Understand and apply knowledge about business, organization, management, and technology to analyze, evaluate, propose and implement solutions in the field of Management Information Systems to support the operations of organizations and businesses in a creative and effective way.

Prepare to leaveskill

  • Ability to program, build databases and apply basic principles of software development process; Able to master technologies and techniques to develop, operate and manage information systems to serve operational, management and administrative activities in organizations and businesses; Able to exploit specialized software to analyze data and synthesize information to support the decision-making process; Able to manage information system projects.

  • Able to apply knowledge of business, organization, management, and technology to analyze, evaluate, propose and implement solutions in the field of management information systems to support the operations of organizations and businesses in a creative and effective way; Able to handle situations and problems that arise during the management of information systems.

  • Ability to think systems and model; Able to work independently under work pressure; Able to coordinate and work in groups with many different subjects in the process of developing management information systems (customers, professional staff and colleagues). Students have the ability to approach and solve problems systematically.
