Scientific seminar "Labor market trends and training strategies for Logistics Technology industry"

In the face of profound changes in the field of logistics and supply chains under the impact of digital transformation, big data, optimization and artificial intelligence, the need to train high-quality human resources to closely meet the needs of the labor market is becoming increasingly urgent. This is an issue of special concern to training institutions, businesses and policy makers. In order to create a forum for academic exchange and strengthen connections between the State - Schools - Enterprises, the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, College of Technology - National Economics University organized a scientific discussion with the topic "Labor market trends and training strategies for Logistics Technology industry".

The discussion focused on discussing core issues related to training and developing human resources in the Logistics Technology industry in the new context. Main contents include logistics training experience at National Economics University; the role of technology, data science, optimization and artificial intelligence in modern supply chain management; as well as the labor market's expectations for logistics human resources in the digital transformation period.

In addition, speakers and guests will discuss opportunities and challenges in applying optimization problems to logistics, and discuss orientations for building training programs linked to the practical needs of businesses and development trends.

The discussion had the participation of scientists, educational managers and experts from the National Economics University, Ho Chi Minh City National University. Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, consulting - data service businesses and Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA).

The program takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., December 29, 2025 at Conference Room G, House A1 - National Economics University. The seminar is an opportunity for lecturers and students to approach new career trends in the field of digital logistics. At the same time, the program creates opportunities for businesses to share their human resource needs and skills in the future, thereby supporting the school to continue perfecting its Logistics Technology training strategy in a direction closely linked to data, artificial intelligence and practical problems.
