Seminar “Ask an Actuary – Breakthrough with an expert perspective”

The industry in Vietnam is having an increasing need for a team of actuaries - those who play an important role in analyzing data, predicting risks and providing solutions to ensure the sustainable development of the market.

To help students and interested people get closer to this potential career field, the Department of Economic Mathematics - College of Technology  coordinates with the Society of Insurance Mathematicians (SOA) to organize the seminar "Ask an Actuary - Breakthrough with an expert perspective".

The program has the participation of experienced speakers in the field of insurance - actuarial, including:

• Dr. Ba Phuong Chung, FSA - CEO Techcom Life, Chairman of TCA, Head of Insurance Department - National Data Center.

• Dr. Tuan Anh Vu - Appointed Actuary, MB Life.

The seminar provides an opportunity for learning about attractive career directions in the insurance actuarial industry, while listening to practical sharing from leading experts. This is also an opportunity for students to equip more knowledge, skills and confidence to be ready for the competitive labor market.
