Actuarial Science Laboratory (AS Lab) recruits members

Currently, Actuarial Science Laboratory (AS Lab) belongs to the Faculty The economic team is recruiting members. AS Lab was established with the purpose of helping passionate students have the opportunity to study, research, and participate in practical work related to Actuarial Science.

Goals:

• Academic research in the field of Actuarial Science: read scientific articles, attend and write articles for related conferences and academic journals to the industry.

• Cooperate with insurance businesses, banks, or businesses related to the Actuarial Science industry to implement projects.

• Organize and participate in competitions related to the field of Actuarial Science.

• Create opportunities for you students perform real-life math problems, or act as a bridge to help students get internships in the field of Actuarial Science.

Field of research:

• Frequency – Severity model.

• Copulae and related topics.

• Monte Carlo Simulation, Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods.

• Bayesian statistics in actuarial science.

• Computational methods in actuarial science.

Conditions to become Member:

• A full-time student at the National Economics University.

• Passionate about research, likes to explore new problems.

Benefits of participating in AS Lab:

• Work, participate in research projects and practical applications with experienced, possibly earn income from participating experts projects.

• Be well-trained in knowledge in the field of Actuarial Science.

• Be equipped with knowledge to participate in Actuarial competitions Science.

• Use modern equipment of AS Lab (11th floor) and DS Lab (16th floor).

Steps to apply to become a member of AS Lab:

• CV:  Please send your CV to email khoatoankt@neu.edu.vn, clearly stating the email subject as "[AS Lab Application] CV - (Applicant's full name)". Deadline for submission is from July 24, 2023 to July 29, 2023.

• Interview round: Those who pass the CV round will be contacted for an interview, this is the final step to become a member of AS Lab.
