On May 9, 2025, teachers and students of the Faculty of Information Technology were present at Vietnam Maritime University, Hai Phong City to attend the National Scientific Conference with the topic "University Administration associated with scientific research in a new context". The conference took place in the morning and afternoon of May 9, 2025, with the participation of many Universities and Colleges across the country. The Faculty of Information Technology participated in the conference with 03 articles.

Dr. Pham Xuan Lam and students Nguyen Duc Thuan and Nguyen Le Ngoc Ha sent to the conference the article "Proposing a learning support system according to constructivist principles based on the Google Codelabs platform". The system mentioned in the above study allows instructors to create realistic, detailed exercises and support students to practice in virtual space. This system tracks learners' progress in real time, providing detailed feedback and personalized assessments based on time spent on each exercise. By analyzing learning behaviors, the system provides assessments based on real data, and promotes learning interest. This approach assists instructors in building interactive learning experiences and encourages students to actively participate, meeting the principles of the Constructivist Principle.
"Overview of research on Metaverse application in university education: Potential, challenges and recommendations" by authors Dr. Pham Thao, Pham Phuc Minh, Nguyen Thi Xuan, Tran Thi Tuong Vi, Mai Duc Khang, Pham Minh Quan, Nguyen Minh Quang, Dr. Pham Xuan Lam and MSc Pham Thi Huong Ly is also one of the articles that the Faculty sent to this conference. This study synthesizes recent research on the integration of simulations for learning purposes in the field of higher education technology. The article highlights the characteristics of Metaverse in education and current outstanding issues related to the applicability of this technology. Based on the compiled research, the authors analyzed the functions, activities and behaviors of participants, as well as the special potential that Metaverse can bring to education and training. In addition, the study also addresses issues that need to be considered when developing simulation systems for learning purposes in the future, thereby proposing some solutions for university applications.
The article "Application of AI and RPA in improving learner experience through analyzing opinions from social networks" by the group of authors MSc Chu Van Huy, Ngo Quynh Anh, Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, Le Quang Minh, Tran Duc Minh, Nguyen Tien Son and Dr. Pham Xuan Lam introduces a system that automatically collects, analyzes and classifies learners' emotions in real time based on natural language processing (NLP) and robotic process automation. (RPA). The system has been put into practical implementation at the National Economics University to evaluate the emotional state and send issues of concern to the relevant departments and units in the University. Besides identifying emotions from text, the system also tracks interaction indicators, including the frequency of comments, shares, likes, and emotional trends of students towards different units of the University. This research highlights the potential of automation to enhance organizational responsiveness, proactively support learners, and improve the overall learning experience.


Overall, the active participation of teachers and students of the Faculty of Information Technology at the conference not only demonstrated their commitment to innovating University administration but also contributed practical technology solutions, consistent with the trend of educational development in the digital era.
