On the morning of September 5, 2025, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the tradition of Vietnamese Education and the opening of the 2025-2026 school year took place in a solemn and exciting atmosphere. The event has special meaning, marking an important historical milestone in the development of the country's education system.
National Economics University is honored to have the presence of Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - University Director; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Lam - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and 200 outstanding students attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the special role of education in building and protecting the Fatherland, affirming that education must always hold the position of "top national policy", training generations of comprehensive citizens with bravery, intelligence and spirit. God of dedication to the country.
An emotional highlight at the ceremony was that for the first time in history, more than 1.6 million teachers and nearly 26 million students across the country simultaneously attended the opening ceremony, saluting the flag and singing the National Anthem. This is a sacred moment, expressing the spirit of solidarity and unanimity towards the cause of growing people.
In the framework of the ceremony, a short film titled "Journey of 80 years of education to develop the country" was premiered, recreating the glorious journey of Vietnamese education over the past eight decades. The College of Technology - National Economics University is extremely proud to appear in these meaningful films. Although only a short moment, that presence is a clear testament to the persistent efforts, continuous innovation and creativity of the University's faculty and students in the journey of connecting technological knowledge with practice, contributing to the overall development of the country.
