On April 18, 2025, the College of Technology was honored to welcome and work with Professor Wu-Yuin Hwang, Principal of the School of Science and Technology, National Dong Hoa University (NDHU), Taiwan. The meeting aims to promote cooperation in the field of training and scientific research between the two schools.

At the meeting, Professor Wu-Yuin Hwang introduced NDHU - one of the leading universities in Eastern Taiwan, outstanding with its green campus, fresh climate and diverse learning environment. Established in 1995, NDHU's School of Science and Technology currently offers 9 undergraduate majors, 8 master's programs and 7 doctoral programs, with a team of more than 100 faculty members and about 2,500 students each year, including more than 350 graduate students.

The professor also shared about the number of international students, including Vietnamese students, studying at the school. At the same time, he introduced scholarship programs for international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as scholarships for tutors from other universities, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.

On the side of the College of Technology, Dr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Principal of the school, introduced the school's organizational structure, existing training majors, faculties and research departments, and future development directions. Established in 2023 on the basis of traditional faculties with more than 130 lecturers, training 3000 students. Currently, the College of Technology is implementing 12 training programs including: Information technology, economic mathematics, computer science, insurance actuarial and risk management, information systems, management information systems, economic statistics, data analysis in economics, information security, data science, artificial intelligence, software engineering.

The school currently has 10 laboratories performing research and applications in various fields. This is a place to help you cultivate knowledge, develop creative thinking, carry out scientific projects and improve professional qualifications to open up many opportunities to develop your capacity in the future. Specifically, these are research laboratories on artificial intelligence in business, computational science in finance and insurance, data analysis and optimization,...

In particular, also at the meeting, Dr. Pham Xuan Lam, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, introduced the field of Information Technology training at the College of Technology, National Economics University, including the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security and Software Engineering. In addition, scientific research programs at laboratories such as Edtech Lab and QAAA, as well as student internship programs, have been introduced.

The meeting opened many new opportunities for cooperation, contributing to promoting common development in the fields of education and scientific research between the two schools. The two sides discussed potential cooperation programs, including coordinated research and implementing training activities at the graduate level.
